Tower Street is a school abuzz with technology and technological learning.
Our 21st century learners move from iPads to tablets to computers to XOs and back again. From developing interactive PowerPoints to programming with Scratch to creating music with GarageBand to watching science experiments on YouTube to helping our Kinder buddies log on to reading software - it's all happening at Tower Street Public School. A coding club - the Coding Collective - meets every Tuesday at recess.
Some of the sites your child may use at school are:
Mathletics
ABC Reading Eggs
Studyladder
Spellodrome
Scratch
Scratchjr
Your child will usually have a user name and password for each of these sites that allows them to log in at home as well as at school. Their teacher may set specific tasks for them or encourage them simply to explore and go as far as they can.
